Privacy

Short version: we collect what we need to run the marketplace and nothing else. We don't sell your data. We are bound by the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

  • Account: email, display name, role (homeowner / pilot).
  • Pilots only: licence number, licensing authority, photo ID, service-area coordinates.
  • Jobs: title, description, address, pin coordinates, budget, deadline, messages, uploaded images.
  • Usage: basic request logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

  • Show relevant jobs to pilots in their service area.
  • Run the booking + delivery flow.
  • Notify you by email about messages, job updates, and payment actions.
  • Review disputes.

Who we share with

  • Your counterparty.Homeowners see accepted pilot's name and uploaded images. Pilots see the homeowner's name and the exact address once the platform fee is paid.
  • Processors: Supabase (auth + database), Cloudflare R2 (image storage), Resend (transactional email), Stripe (platform fee payments, once enabled).
  • Authorities, where we're legally required to.

Retention

  • Original images: 30 days after job approval, then purged from R2. Paid storage extensions will be offered in a future release.
  • Thumbnails: up to 12 months, so pilots can use them in their picwork portfolio.
  • Account + job metadata: retained while your account is active, plus any minimum period required by tax or consumer-protection law.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information by emailing hello@picwork. We'll respond within 30 days.
